$250 will buy a surety bond for $5000 or so, the car was barely worth $2000

The police don't do the inspection anymore.  

I called a friend who was a police officer... the chief of police... he
pulled some strings

I wonder if Canadian vins are any different than US Vins.

Same number of digits and same format
