Airbags in Canada (Ontario) was not required until 1992. I haven't seen a Canadian 91 Supra with airbag but all 92's I've seen (including mine) has the airbag. My sister's 91 Corolla didn't have airbag when she bought it in 91.
Also, I've never seen automatic seatbelts until I moved to the US, not sure if Canadian cars had it.Darren92T 5-Speed White PackageCanadian Model in Florida> ------------------------------> > Message: 7> Date: Thu, 15 May 2008 14:59:53 -0700> From: <cthommes at adelphia.net>> Subject: Re: [Supras] Help for import to the US> To: Sean Cavanaugh <millenia2000 at hotmail.com>> Cc: supras at supras.com> Message-ID: <10511381.1210888793013.JavaMail.root at web30>> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8> > Passive Restraint system would refer to the driver's side airbag, which I don't believe was installed on canadian cars? All 90+ US cars must have driver's passive restrains, in the form of automatic seat belts or an airbag.> > -Craig> > ---- Sean Cavanaugh <millenia2000 at hotmail.com> wrote: > > > > i dont believe you need a certifitcate as the canadian version is pretty much identical to the US version. you might want to see if US Customs or Department of Transportation has any information on this.> > > > -Sean
