[Supras] Help! New vibration MKIII Supra Turbo - CONCLUSION (for now!)

Well - I picked up the car and I am happy! There may an extremely slight
bit of vibration remaining but I don't think it's new or related to the
repairs. In fact, it might be the new tires, the road, or perhaps that
looseness in the transmission output bushing.

The shop was top rate, and really did the right thing at every turn without
me having to complain loudly or anything. And the only real problem that
they had to fix was from a subcontractor that they have used for years and
rarely or never had a problem with, so these things happen and I can't
complain at all.

The power is better than I recall, feels almost like new, although I only
took it a little over 80mph - it really was smooth at that speed, although
obviously I couldn't maintain it for long (I have a good driving record to
maintain!)

For some reason (warmer day?) the rear hatch didn't even squeak today, so
I'm happy all around (and put off ordering the (6) rubber bumpers for the
moment).

There's still plenty of other nuisance items and small projects to bring the
car to 'like new' (seems like the closer it gets, the more obvious are the
minor things) but my wallet needs a bit of a breather.

Thanks to all for the great advice.

Dell
