[Supras] Knock sensors

Jon, thanks for the information about knock sensors, and for the link to
the Electrical Wiring Routing diagram at

Apparently I have now verified that KNK#1 is at the front of the engine. I
bought an underhood wiring harness at an auto salvage yard and took the
entire knock sensor lead out of the harness (which took a lot of unwinding
and unwrapping). At the ECU, I clipped the old, damaged lead for KNK#1 and
spliced in the replacement lead. It works--I don't have a Knock Sensor
light on the dash now.


BTW, I now have a complete underhood wiring harness (minus the knock sensor
lead) if anybody's interested.
