[Supras] Coolant and oil temp gauges, install ideas?

Take the water neck off the head, and drill and tap it for the coolant temp sensor. There was an obvious location on mine where there is an unused boss that's perfect for the job. I can snap a photo if you need it, but you should be able to see what I'm talking about on the passenger side of that water neck.
I have my oil temp gauge on a spin-on adapter. Most people will say to install this in the tank but I installed my gauge when the motor was in the car so that wasn't practical.
As for the oil cooler thermostat, I have installed a Mocal unit on this car. I noticed no oil temp behavior difference between this car and my last Supra which did not have one. I will be removing the thermostat shortly. I live in socal, and almost never see ambient temps below 40F, so the thermostat is really pointless for me anyway.
I now anxiously await Mohler's fervent praise of oil thermostats, and subsequent insistence that they be installed on all vehicles everywhere.
