Bernie, I really don't think making changes to the car are going to be
the biggest improvement here. I'm not trying to discredit your ability
but it seems like learning to control the inputs from the driver will be
the best improvement. When I first got into motorsports a couple of
years ago I thought the Supra was tough to control and could never look
smooth when really in the power. The first school I took riding with a
'hotshoe' was amazing. It felt smooth yet was much faster than my fast
looking, rear out driving. I'd suggest you check out the local auto-x
scene if you have one or a school like Van mentioned.

Now that I've had a fair amount of seat time (I don't think there's ever
enough at any level) I think this car is one of the smoothest out there,
just have to learn how it should be driven and the amount of reaction
required (and I think it's got a lot of potential I've yet to tap into)
A favorite saying in the racing world is the most important upgrade is
fixing the loose nut behind the wheel.
Traction control is probably the only vehicle fix I can think of that
deals with what you're describing, what fun is that? :)
