A good sealer is sold on some of the professional HVAC websites.  It 
works by bleeding out a small amount from the leak area which hardens 
using atmospheric moisture as a catalyst.  Since it is used by the pros, 
I would not hesitate to use it.  You will need to get an oil introducer 
(a chamber with valves on each end) to get it into the system without 
getting air in the system.  They are about $30 on the same site 
(actually there are several, but some years have elapsed since looking 
at and buying their products.  DEFINITELY DO NOT USE THE SEALER 
CARTRIGES SOLD BY THE "PUBLIC" AUTO PARTS RETAILERS.
