[Supras] brake light problem

My brake lights just stopped working the other day - I think I've traced the problem back to the"light out" warning box behind the taillight assembly. I have voltage going in but nothing coming out. Is this a common failure point? If so are there any known solutions or do I need to find a new box?

Any help is appreciated.

BTW - have access to carfax for a few more days if anyone needs it.
