How the ISC works:

If you didn't put the check valve back in, and correct, yet that would bring
in too much air. It should go with the ISC then the seal washer then the
check valve with the flat part facing towards the ISC.

Subject: [Supras] Idle speed control

When I adjusted the throttle position sensor I removed the Idle speed
control so I could reach the lower screw. Put it back together and now the
car idles at 1100 rpm. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the check
valve fell out as I was putting it together. Would this cause high idle? I
don't know how the ISC works... The TSRM is no help. Can anyone shed some
light on how it effects idle speed?
