In the midwest we have club racing(high speed wheel to wheel road racing)
organized by the midwestern council. Three current categories for the mk3,
showroom stock, ITS, ITGT, & unrestricted class as well. If you can pass the
tests and have a prepped car properly caged, all safety measures, there is a
class for you. Of the thousands of cars I have seen, open wheel, vintage,
miatas, porsche, bmws, vettes, legends, hondas, alfa romeo, former bush
series cars...., I have never seen another mk3 out. Competitors often race
in regional and national scca races. Our licenses are recognized by scca. It
is the most expensive fun you can have in a car.

Guys,

I'm hearing you all speak about racing MA70 Supras. Is this
racing informal, SCCA, or another type of organized multi-brand racing ?
If SCCA, which modified class do you run in or does anyone run stock ?
Do any N/As participate (in a different class, of course :-)

Thanks, Skip
