[Supras] Various questions

Today it's very rare to find a vehicle without cruise! I just wanted to
throw my $0.02 in that my '84 trans am, god rest her soul, was a 5 speed
with cruise. My current '91 Supra has a 5 speed and cruise. Owned an '89
Sunbird Turbo with cruise, as well as a '97 Miata with cruise. Really only
good for highway driving, or for keeping it at 60 on long stretches where
you want to let her loose, but know the cops hang around there! Set the
cruise at 60, and take your foot off the gas pedal to prevent temptation!

As for hills, well, if there are hills, you don't want to be in cruise
anyway; you WANNA shift and have FUN!!! ;)

Don't own a 5-speed Supra, but all of the other 5-speed's I have driven,
your son would have to rely on his knowledge. When he goes up a hill or the
engine gets bogged down, he will shift and the CC will cancel, so you will
have to reset it in whatever gear.
