[Supras] 1978 Toyota Supra GT

I own a Supra and this is my first post. People say first Supra GT was 1979, but my pinkslip says 1978. There are no others like it known in the Portland, Oregon area.

Engine is 20R connected to a five speed transmission. Very fast off the line with good top end torque. There are no known modifications from factory specifications.

Runs good, but having a peculiar problem shifting. At start up have to pump clutch several times to mesh into reverse gear. After that shifting 1 thru 5 is smooth with no detectable slippage of clutch. Shut the engine down for two hours or so and have to pump the clutch several times again.

Master and slave cylinders are new, and fluid is up. Why does the clutch keep losing pressure? Any ideas?
