The snapping or whipping sound described in previous postings indeed appears to be coming from the intake side cam cover, the only one accessible to listen inside of without removing the PCV vent connection in back of the 3000 pipe. The sound disappears when warm. Has anyone had a valve sticking problem? Bernie
