[Supras] Clunk in Steering Column

So. what goes clunk in the steering column?  

 

My 89 na has a noticeable clunk when I move the steering wheel rapidly back
an forth

 

The u joint looks ok but I didn't have help so I couldn't shake the wheel
and prove they were ok.

 

Please tell me that I don't have the only one that ever had this problem.

 

I know it isn't the ball joints and the tie rods look fine with out any play

 

The rack feels tight and I thought they would leak. mine doesn't leak
