There's a discussion of replacing all of the small gauges in the dash with aftermarket on SM.

Basically, it can be done, with results that vary from looking decent to terrible.

One problem is that the stock gauges aren't sized the same as the aftermarket ones, so you 
have to adapt the aftermarket gauges to suit.  The needles don't look the same either, 
though you can get ones that look good, it's just not the same.  If you could replace the 
other needles on the stock gauges that would help.
