[Supras] Camry 80 Amp Alternator Upgrade

This is information regarding the 80 amp alternator upgrade for '84-'86 Supras...

Ask your local parts store (or online source) for an alternator for a 1992 Toyota Camry with the 3.0L V6.  Needs to have the ROUND PLUG to work in the MK2 Supra.  The '93 and newer Camry's have a different plug design, and the '91 Camry has a 2.5L V6 and is only 70amps.  Also get the alternator belt for the '92 Camry.  Go home and swap them out like normal.  Put it all back together and enjoy having an 80amp alternator versus a 65amp alternator! :-)
