I ran the first event with the 3.73 Torsen in this weekend. It does have
a little less acceleration with the gearing but feels good being able to
throttle oversteer easier and get both wheels gripping out of corners.
Rear was smooth and easy to control. I didn't drive it for all it was
worth since it's just been put together but it felt to offer more grip
than before (didn't seem to get to limit of tires as easily) Next
weekend I'll push a little more and see how it feels, so far I think
it's an improvement but some of usual competition has jumped to R'
compounds so I'm playing cath up but was second on street tires (grey
Wrx took first on street tires, I coned away a matching time time on the
vid run). No, I didn't have a prayer of catching the fastest time, my
buddy's Miata on 275 Kuhmos :)
