[Supras] Walbro forgeries

Hi list.

    Just curious if anyone got stuck with a fake Chinese Walbro pump.  
When did they start being manufactured?  I bought mine in August of 
2005, though just installed last week.  Pictures of the fakes show 
somewhat rough metal for the casing, whereas the Walbro I bought had a 
smooth casing.  Also, there were a couple of very small stamped numbers 
in the cylindrical body, near the top of the pump.  The Chinese pictures

The guy I bought mine from on ebay (dinoconnie.geo) sold about 35 items 
stating in about 2002 and stopped in September of 2005.  He is still an 
ebay member but is apparently inactive.
