Time permitting, I'm going to make up a resistive voltage divider 
tonight for the stock boost gauge.  If the ball and spring boost 
controller proves inaccurate, it will be replaced.  I have already built 
a system based on a small well known commercial back pressure relief 
valve with a check valve in reverse parallel with it.
