[Supras] PS: "Awesome" posting about first 12 PSI boost ride

My FIPK kinda whooshes when sucking in air, especially when its cool outside. I never heard a whine on the turbo car. My supercharged Buick whined while building boost.
The Bosh BOV will "hoot" at near 0-psi from previous experience as well.

Hi again.  Forgot to state that the turbo is 57 trim.

However, when spooling up, I can hear a wooshing sound coming from the
 HKS
air filter, almost as if the blowoff valve is opening and bypassing air
back to the accordian hose.  Whe backing off the throttle to shift, the
"woosh" turns to a "twang" of sorts, as if there is a organ-pipe
 resonance
someplace in the intake piping, or maybe due to the delay in getting
vacuum to the top of the BOV diaphragm.  The BOV is a Porsche-Saab
 Bosch
unit.

Thought I would hear a whine from the turbine coming from the open air
filter, but hear the whoosh instead under boost.  Any ideas would be
appreciated.
