Jeff:

    You are probably right.  Although the glycerin filled gauges are 
built to take vibration from high pressure letdown valves and such in 
chemical plants, they are not totally immune to wear from vibration 
either. 


    Something to take care of in the spring.  I doubt if the bourdon 
tube will fail before then.
