Perhaps what made him feel sick was driving the car hard with stock
swaybars and high mileage shocks :)

Daniel, you'll notice more flex with the top off the more you stiffen
the rest of the car. Targa bars as mentioned are a great help, they feel
just as solid as with the top being in place. This is also going to
depend on use/condition of the car, years of big bass stereo can cause a
lot of vibrations to unfold, I'd imagine that could be transmitted
throughout the body.

Flex is nothing...its what ALL  cars do, just open top cars do it more.
