Without looking at an ABS car would it be practical just to remove the ABS
and dropping the weight?
Just an idea

Subject: [Supras] ABS Actuator Unit
Hey guys, I have a problem. Somewhere in the ABS actuator of my 91T is a
plug that is severly hampering the flow of brake fluid to my passenger front
tire. When I try to bleed the passenger front brakes, it's almost like I
haven't opened the bleeder. So I removed the line from the ABS actuator,
and it's just as bad. Even with that brake line disconnected, the brake
pedal is very stiff, and only slowly goes to the floor, and only a little
fluid comes out of the actuator. Drivers side front bleeds normally, so I
know it's not the master cylinder or the line going over to the ABS unit.
This is causing my car to pull serverly to the left when I stomp the brake
from highway speeds. VERY annoying!
Has anyone ever pulled this ABS actuator apart? I've tried the usual brake
rebuilding places, but they don't rebuild these. If anyone knows of a place
that will rebuild it, please let me know. I do NOT want to pay $2k for a
new one! (It'd be worth more than I can get for the car!!!)
Thanks,
Eric
