PS: The inner lower elbow to turbine nut was a bitch to get to and
tighten, worse with the larger Lipp elbow than with the stocker. Finally
cut and bent a 14 mm box srench to get maybe an 1/8 of a turn at a time,
followed by final tightening with a straight box wrench (just barely).
These are supposed to be self locking crimped nuts, so they should not be
chased to make them thread on easier. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Finally took my new JDM rebuild (in '91T 5 speed) up to 6K RPM a couple of
times last night with 550cc, Lex, Walbro, HKS intake, Cometic, ARP studs,
57 trim turbo, and 3" single cat RAndom Technology exhaust (HKS 80 mm
cat-back following the cat). What a pleasant whallop in the back above 4K
RPM with only 6 PSI boost. Prudence indicates at least a look at head
stud torque before going up to the target of 15 PSI. This is going to be
one pleasing car. I also moved the oil pickup back in the pan by 3" as
formerly written.

As received, the 3" downpipe was filthy inside, requiring several passes
wtih acetone soaked rags pulled through it to clean out particulate matter
embedded in heavy black drawing compound. That stuff would never have
passed through the cat. Surprising for a company like RT.

As always, comments are appreciated.
