[Supras] 3" single cat exhaust

All of the Random Technology 3" parts including the cat arrived today.  
The box containing the downpipe was marked with a sticker that stated 
"for off-road use only".  Certainly the manufacturer needs to state that 
for liability purposes since it eliminates the pre-cat. 


In NJ, I've never had a visual inspection, but expect this setup to be 
somewhat louder than stock, both compared equally with an 80 mm HKS 
LET-T16 exhaust system.  As stated before, the inspectors do rev the 
engine (not to high speeds) to judge noise (sound level meters are 
supposed to be used, but are not.  The test is entirely subjective). 


Has anyone in NJ failed with an otherwise good running engine and the 
Random cat, or has anyone had a visual inspection?  Looking forward to 
anyone who has had such an incident.
