I'll second that. The reservoir can get filled with slime and it plugs the screen. To get it out, you can just remove the undercover under the reservoir at the front right fender, then remove two bolts and the whole things drops out. You have to do it by feel since one bolt is hidden from view.
For a few bucks get replacement screens and rubber grommets for the two pumps, and thoroughly clean out the reservoir with a garden hose before putting it back together.
By the way, if you have driven pretty much any late model car
you will have noticed that the washer nozzles don't shoot out a stream,
but rather a broad mist of droplets that evenly soaks the windshield.
These nozzles are actually licensed from a company called Bowles
Fluidics Corporation (http://www.bowlesfluidics.com/products/).
Anyway, the 2002-2005 Camry's
have the fluidic nozzles and they are a drop-in replacement for the
89+ MkIII Supra. The only difference is that the hose barb has a 90 degree
bend on the Camry nozzles. Clearance around the barb is tight, but if
you fit the hose on the barb before snapping the nozzles into the hood
it goes on fine.
I got the nozzles from Champion Toyota for about $11 each. They are part number: 85381-AA042.
NOTE: These don't fit the 86-88 model hood.

I had that issue with my washer motor as well, and the parts guys told me there's a small screen that will sometimes get clogged and need to be cleaned off. You need to remove the washer bottle to get to it. Obviously it's below the area where the stock airbox once was. You need to remove the front right wheel and plastic fender liner to get to it. There's two motors, so you'll need to check both of them to find the screen.
It's been about 7 years since I had to do this on mine, so that's the best I can recall!!
Hope this helps!

Subject: [Supras] Power antenna and other last items on '91
The rebuilt JDM engine in the Texas '91T 5 speed is running quite well,
although I still need to receive the 3" downpipe and cat (already
received Lipp elbow). No ECU codes were set. Nice to have a car
without rust. There are a couple of cosmetic items to address, but
nothing major. Mods include 550cc injectors, Lexus AFM, Walbro pump
(with drilled J-tube), custom made FPR, chrome moly flywheel, Porsche
blowoff valve, 57 trim CT26 turbo, HKS intake filter, '98 MkIV mounts,
JDM 80 mm cat back exhaust. . The present exhaust system is probably
clogged due to a former BHG. Eventually I intend going to 14 PSI. Have
not been over 4 PSI so far. Engine has less than 15 miles on it.
A couple of last items need to be attended to. Temporarily I fixed the
gas door (broken retracting plastic piece) by removing the flat pop-open
spring and using velcro to hold the door closed. Other items are as
follows.
1. The power antenna does not retract or extend completely. It was bent
at one time. I once replaced the mast on my '90, but do not know where
the information came from as it was over 10 years ago. If the problem
involves the motor, what is the best way to remove it? The access door
is awfully small.
2. The front windshield washer motor appears seized (rear is OK). When
pushing the stalk button, I can hear a sound and see the lights dim ever
so little. I guess I'll order another one from Jeff Watson unless
anyone has a better suggestion.
As always, any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Use the parts from your 90 to fix the 91. You will learn how to install by
removing the used parts.

Joe:
I had the same idea, but do not want to compromise the worth of the '90 to
any further extent than I need to. The BHG and a couple of other niggling
things are enough. When listing it I hope to be able to get the message
across that the engine otherwise is in very good condition (synthetic oil
since 40K miles), and ran strong as stock before the BHG. I made up a
block lapping tool from a 10" lapping plate driven at the center with a
small 12V gearhead motor which turns at about 60 RPM, less with less
voltage. I'll be happy to lend it to the car buyer with a small deposit.
A precision straightedge from MSC or Enco costs about $100, but I'm not
going to let that out of the house.
Also there is the prospect of doing double work with an interchange. But
we shall see. I'll disassemble the '91 first and see how it goes.

I personally don't want a MKIV other than for the engine.
