Jim,
A turbo exhaust (of any size) is going to be very loud. Reason
is turbos muffle the exhaust noise and, as a result, the exhaust systems
for turbo cars have much less noise reduction built in to them.
On my N/A, I have used HKS "Sport" exhausts for years. Decent
sound but no miracle HP improvements. Deeper sound than stock. One
thing the car liked was hollowing out the cat and welding in a pipe - no
resonance noise like with just a hollowed out cat.
For N/A cars, if anyone can recommend a better system for a N/A,
please do. My HKS system is almost eight years old.
Thanks, Skip

Well after a number of years of pretty good service my Monza/Pacesetter
exhaust is shot.
Anybody got any suggestions for a replacement Cat-back exhaust for MkIII
NA?
Thanks,
Jim
