[Supras] Mass Air Flow Meter

The only thing that I have seen work to clean the AFM is freon based electronics cleaner, which is now banned and unavailable unless you happen to have an old can on the back shelf. All other cleaners appear to cause irreversible damage. Of course, if you first remove the electronics from the housing, then you can use anything to clean the housing of oil and crud.

I saw a new product @ kragen's/schucks/checkers, air flow meter
cleaner, BUT don't know if it will work. I wouldn't try it ;)

To All,

I know you are not supposed to clean the sensor but has anyone cleaned
it and with what that works?? I would just buy a new one but it is
pretty expensive and you have to buy the entire unit (Air Flow Meter with
 Housing).

Thanks for your input

Brandon
