This is what I seem to recall as well, that the AMS unit is a direct take on the Cartech.

I'm also looking for a new IC setup, this is going to be my next performance mod, since I have a 3" plus turbo-
back exhaust system on the way.

So far, my thoughts are that the AMS kit at Suprastore.com seems like about the best overall package deal.  I'd 
like to go with the HKS SSQV BOV, but with the recirculation fitting, since I'm planning on sticking with the 
AFM.  (I have the Lexus AFM.)
