[Supras] Spring removal from shock problems?

This may end up being an option but I'm not sure as I don't want to
damage the threads. My main concern is the shocks as they'll be rebuilt
and reused after removing the springs. They are a c-clip style, too bad
I can't make a tool to fit a lower grove and compress the sprig/perch
from the bottom enough to remove the clip, then the springs could come
off from the bottom.

If you can get a die grinder or Dremel tool in there you can cut the
nuts off.
