Oil pans may or may not be the same depending on what car they came out
of (soarer has a different oil pan) Mine was the same, and I used it.

I believe ps pumps are the same, but I'm not sure. I don't recall that
mine had one attached.

Oil pressure sender is NOT compatible - use your old one. Also, I had
to use the thermostat housing piece with the sensors. The one on the
Japanese had one sensor less or something that was different.

P.S. - in answer to your other post about using venom injectors. My
only advice is that in the 6 or 7 years I've been on the list, I don't
recall ever hearing one problem or complaint with new RC injectors (I
have them on my car). I subjectively seem to remember hearing multiple
complaints about venoms right out of the box. Not a risk I would take.

Subject: [Supras] Domestic vs. JDM oil pans

Finally working on getting the JDM engine together. I was told the JDM
oil pan was different from the domestic one, so I bought one from Jeff
Mohler while ago, but they look the same. Anyone have any ideas?

I was told by the JDM sales guy that the power steering pumps would
differ as well, but they appear to be exactly the same. The JDM was a
later model, since it has the totally counterweighted crankshaft.

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

PS: Also open to buying a body with less miles than my '90, with 165K
and the very beginnings of rust bubbles above the rear wheels. If
anyone has one they want to sell, please let me know.
