[Supras] Help with Brake Light Failure

Here is the wiring diagram for brake light system:

Notice there is a different path for the rear lights and the spoiler lights.
I would check where it attaches to the Ligth Failure Sensor there and see at
what point you aren't getting 12V.

   When I start my 89t and tap the brake pedal the "REAR LIGHT FAILURE"
light comes on. 
 I checked the brake lights and they were not working. I replaced the bulbs
and cleaned the
sockets. They worked for about a day, the light came on and they were out
again. I replaced
 the bulbs again and checked the fuse and I still can not get them to work.
The taillights still
 work but not the brake lights.The brake light on the spoiler still works.
Any suggestions would 
be appreciated.
