[Supras] AC O Ring Parts found

Although this won't affect many of you out there I but I spent at least 6
hours chasing down the o-rings for a 91 MR2 A/C Compressor.

I had the compressor fail on the car and the remanufactured compressor
didn't come with the Manifold that the hoses attach to.

These parts are a PITA to find and after stopping at the dealer, Napa,
Bennett Auto, and all of the big boxes I finally started calling
manufactures. I was able to contact Santech in Texas and after about 25+
minutes on the phone we came to the conclusion that even though the
cataloging for the compressors state that the same compressor was used from
87 to 92 on all Mr2s there were two available, one was listed as 85 to 89
and a different one that was 87 to 93.

My 91 came from the factory with the 85 to 89 compressor. I have no idea if
this is a common problem, this 91 is not a particularly early production
number so maybe the data that the part suppliers use is just plain wrong.

The guy from Santech said that he was going to forward the information to
the guys who maintain the catalog so this may be updated in the near future.

I hope this helps someone

Bob
