[Supras] (UPDATE) Idle issue after installing lexus AFM.

Wow..awesome.

But..its not the AFMs fault, the common high flow air filters dont..hmm..how
do I say.."straighten" out the airflow if the air around it is turbulent to
let ANY AFM get a nice stable solid reading.

Remove the honeycomb in front of the AFM (if you have not already) for a
dramatic example of this and how your car idles.

The lexus housing is larger, which slowwwwsss dowwwnnn the airflow compared
to a stock AFM body, and this contributes to an uneven non-laminar airflow
across the sensor. (which is how the ECU sees "less" air to promote a higher
boost fuel cut)

Again, welcome to the world of a thousand shades for grey. Doing it all the
right way costs more, but ask anyone..like say Malik..what a rebuild is
costing him. Blowing things up at only 350Hp aint go grey area, thats cold
hard black & white catching up to ya.
