Tom,
The battery is already on the port side - forward. Are you saying that you moved it straight back (aft) to where the brake/clutch reservoirs are? Or did you mean to say that you moved it "starboard" aft, which would be in front of the passenger side firewall? I'd love to see a pic of where you made room for it.

I moved my battery to the portside, aft, and had plenty of room to locate the
puke tank inside the engine bay. I bent the stock steel bracket to fit and had
to drill only one hole to mount it. I had to get another tube to drain the
overflow below the body.

I spent saturday working on my new car some more and got the FMIC mounted up
behind the bumper now.
now my issue is where to place the radiator overflow tank since it no longer
fits. I dont know if theres a location i should aim for mounting it as my other
options were to get a smaller one from Jegs or just hacking out some of the
container to make it shorter.
