I did email the seller (with pictures showing the measurement differences between stock and their flywheel) and I am waiting to hear from them. I am hoping I can just return it and get my money back.

If you had to go cheap then i would have suggested the XTD flywheel, its
onlys $50 more and works a treat, have you contacted the seller about the
problem??

It also was as light as advertised about 12lbs. No problem cranking the
engine (teeth on the outer ring are correct). The stock clutch cover fits
no problem. But when I tried to engage the clutch in any gear, a tapping
noise was coming out of the clutch housing and the car barely moved. I
immediately realized something was wrong. Initially I thought that I might
have installed the clutch disk backwards. But when I dropped the
transmission and checked the clutch disk I realized what the problem was:
on this aluminum flywheel they made the inner diameter too small (about
1/4"). The aluminum flywheel was actually hitting parts on the clutch disk
that the stock flywheel doesn't (it was hitting the big rivets near the
center of the clutch disk). I took pictures (to attach to my request for
return instructions from the vendor) and you can see what I mean:

isolated problem with the one I got, but somehow I doubt it (I think its
more like a design/manufacture error). I paid $125 for it + $20 for
shipping, and I thought it's worth a try, but now I really wish I had bought
the Fidanza instead!
