[Supras] Rear Strut cost

Where do you fall on doing the springs yourself?  I did all four one time
with a simple spring compressor I bought and it was pretty simple doing the
whole job myself.

But in listening to the Car Talk guys, they had a story about the cheap
spring compressors failing.  And I know enough about the physics of springs
to not be around one of them when and if the compressor fails.

I've been planning on replacing all the struts on my car pretty soon, and I
think I like the idea of taking the struts to a shop for that part.

Amen.

Including lug nuts, there are 10 nuts to turn.

5 lugnuts
1 swaybar link
1 lower strut bolt
3 upper strut nuts.

Then you take over the units to a shop with your new $30-100/ea struts
depending what you purchase, and pay em $20 to change them on their spring
compressor.
