[Supras] 1 piece driveshafts??

That apparently wasn't what JAWS was willing to do although they said they would and didn't.
I'm not overly concerned now as it is a steel rather than aluminum shaft and it does appear to be balanced well as I've not experienced any noticeable vibration even at speeds up to ~ 120 mph (briefly during multi vehicle pass).

With something as critical as a driveshaft, I would be very
upset about having one extended 2". Especially when it was
likely built for an auto and should have been swapped.

I ordered the 5 speed unit and it showed up a couple of inhes short. Sent the shaft back with accurate length measurement of my stock 2 piece unit and they spliced a piece in to make it longer, took about a week to turn it around. If you buy one make sure you know the desired length....

I had read a while back that a problem with an Al. driveshaft is that it does not dampen vibration as well as a stock shaft. (I'm guessing this is because the stocker's rear section is 2 piece with rubber isolation) Can anyone confirm whether a 1 piece steel shaft dampens any better than an Al. one? I realize a carbon shaft would dampen better than both but I don't have the funds to go with that option.
