[Supras] 1 piece driveshafts??

I've run the 1 piece I got from SS in Texas for 2 years now and no vibration
problems. Initially the U-Joints had way to much play, but they replaced
them. It's listed here:

Supra Sport's AL drive shaft.
Light-weight for less rotational inertia, and one piece to eliminate the
need to buy a new carrier barring, and U-joints this baby was worth it to
me. (129cm long x 24cm diameter @ 11.8lb)

Side note I put it in when going from an Auto to a 5 speed so I have no
5-speed baseline.

Subject: [Supras] 1 piece driveshafts??

Does anyone have experience with the 1 piece driveshafts available for the
mk3? I've seen the 'Jaws Gear' shaft and the 'Driveshaft Shop' both offered
in Steel and Al. I had read a while back that a problem with an Al.
driveshaft is that it does not dampen vibration as well as a stock shaft.
(I'm guessing this is because the stocker's rear section is 2 piece with
rubber isolation) Can anyone confirm whether a 1 piece steel shaft dampens
any better than an Al. one? I realize a carbon shaft would dampen better
than both but I don't have the funds to go with that option.

Thanks,
Brian
