OK, I don't know if this is a problem for everyone but the links seem to get
cut off because they wrap. So you loose the important info. So I just
"fixed" it to make the link a big shorter:

That is a bit easier than moving all the directories around. Those oil
hoses leaked on me a while back, we very messey. That would be a good thing
to also try to track down your leak. Just don't forget the clean the engine
part. Do that first to avoid getting your new parts messey.

"The car"... is that a turbo? If so, what you describe sounds like the
textbook symptoms of leaking oil cooler hoses. Get under the car, take off
the under cover, and start cleaning.
Then replace the two hoses that run from the oil cooler pipes on the side of
the engine (one on the oil pan, one on the oil filter bracket) to the
hardline pipes mounted under the radiator support. This will help:

Hi all!
I finally got some free time to look at the car so I can try and find the
leaks before I just start replacing random gaskets(and thanks for the
replies to my previous post... I'll be sure to put them into practice once
I actually start workin on my leaking contraption!)...
and I found that a huuuuuuuge puddle of oil collects under my car, and a
bunch of little oil droplets are all over the place. Apparently, it's not
just one leak. The biggest one seems to collect somewhere between the oil
pan and the transmission... does that sound about right? Also, the exhaust
has a burnt oil streak right down the middle of it, starting at the little
brace thing that's located just past the cat. There seems to be a buncha
oil collecting on the bottom side of the brace. The cross member looking
thing that's right next to the pan is also pretty much covered in oil.
Actually, just about everything between the oil pan and the radiator is
soaked in oil.
On the top side, the front half of the valve gasket covers are completely
clean, while the back end of them seem to have a film of oil over them. I
guess I'll try and get some hex bolts to replace the old bolts 'n screws,
but I'm not sure if they're the problem.
Anyway, I'm hoping to have some free time soon on a weekend... is there
anyone in the 818 area that wouldn't mind lending a hand? Heh, I just want
to be able to drive a few blocks without having to throw another quart of
oil in the car :'(
Well, thanks again!
