Ventilation, Jeff?  Also, where do you carry the spare? Or is it on a AAA 
wallet card? :-)

FWIW, I made a custom enclosure for my now upside-down mounted full size 
spare with two Ultimate 6.5's run out of phase.
I can't push them too hard, but the sound is way clean.

Im building a 7 sided box of heavy MDF in the spare well, and the AMP/power
rack will be the spare tire cover that I laminated in FG, then a layer of
Carbon-Kevlar, then a gloss layer of poly resin (about 1/8" thick).

Above that on stands, will be a false floor that will look like an empty
hatch area if the targa was out..and that will also support a load of
groceries/etc without impacting the hardware.
