[Supras] looking for opinions on Megasquirt from community

For those in the group who have looked to replacing the stock ECU either with piggybacks or full replacements

thru your researching and browsing, some of you might have come across the MegaSquirt unit. I want to know what features (or lack there of) that turned you off to the unit. I'm friends with one of the main developers and I'm trying to get him a list of stuff that it was not able to provide for us before so he may possibly fix/add/address them. the MS2/extra is getting MUCH closer to being able to replace ECU of any car. I'm already working with him to be able to get a fuel injector daughterboard that would support splitting the stock 2 channels into the 3 channels our cars know and love.


any insight would be appreciated. end result of all this will be a PnP module for our supras that can run it much better than the stock ECU ever could and for a fraction of the cost of high end aftermarket ECU's
