Dollars to donuts they are not the same gray... You asked previously about differences between 90-91. Your 91 got the following:
1) 6.5" door speakers
2) Color matched side mouldings
3) Slightly changed gauge faces
4) 5-spoke wheels replaced the sawblades
There may be more I'm not remembering now, but most significantly in this discussion there were a few color additions/changes. Chances are the '91 got Shadow Gray interior, and until you see it in person you probably haven't perceived the difference between that and the current Medium Gray interior you have now in your '90. As such, swapping dashes may not be a viable option for you.
Also, good luck finding any shadow gray interior pieces in any condition (short of NOS from the dealer for a pretty penny).
