[Supras] MkIII dash shrinkage?

Hi again.

    Just scrutinizing the pictures of the '91 I bought yesterday from Houston.  There appears to be a gap between the bottom of the upper dashboard surface and the black plastic trim piece above the instrument cluster.  Has anyone experienced the upper dash shrinking in hot climates?  It could be that the screws are missing, since they should show in the photo of the gap but do not.

    If needed, I'll exchange it with the '90 dash, but it is going to be a big job.  Or, are there sources of reasonably stock looking dash covers?  The ones I've seen are for "dress-up" and do not appear to roll under the black trim above the instrument cluster.
