looks as if it needs to be a deep socket, but it turns out that it does not.  (I was 
surprised there...)

3.  Again, using the 3/8" drive socket works, but you'll need to change the cam's position, 
particularly the intake, as there's a protrusion that interferes with one nut.

5.  I went to 90 ft-lbs, myself.  No problem whatsoever.

That's just my experience.  (Wish I'd read this before I installed mine!)
