[Supras] Posting about electronics

Yes, it was meant in jest...

You know so much more about technical issues than I ever will. I wouldn't
even have thought about why the head gaskets blow or that the head is most
likely too long. I can't even talk intelligently about your issues with the
knock sensor and why the wiring fails

I am just happy to fix the cars but I really don't understand what went into
engineering them. Hell, I am not even sure the earth is round...

Bob

I'm sure your message was meant in jest. Nonetheless, no one
individual in this list can know everything about everything. I post
what I know and ask questions about what I don't know. We all do the
same. You have a history of being into the business end of cars, the
wary eye and ear which comes from having dealt with used cars, which
few others on the list have. I happed to work in electronics as do a
few other contributors, and also enjoy it as an avocation. So, for
me and a few others, there is a melding of interests in addtion to
seeking a deeper understanding of ways in which Toyota undertook
design.

Without quite a bit guidance, I'd be hard pressed to make even a
dollar a day in the buying and selling of cars, or much else for that
matter. Staying above the indexes in the stock market is hard
enough, by a razor thin margin.

I am not sure we should allow Bernie to post to this list... He makes me
feel much more stupid that Arlene did. :-P
