[Supras] Is it true?

Thanks to all that replied. I thought 96 was the only year that didn't have the 6 speed. But one of my friends who is a Ford guy!, said he knew more than me about supras after I told him in an email that I wanted a 98 TT 6 speed Supra. I couldn't let it stand, not from a ford guy.

No there was some issue with OBD2 that prevented the TT 6 spd from passing
emissions.  They fixed it the next year

Is it true that after 96 the twin turbo supras only came as autos? I thought
they made the 6-speed all the way through 98.
