[Supras] eagle rods

I noticed the same thing when I got a set of carrillo's. I thought it was a
mfg error at first and called carrillo on it and yes, the bearings are fed
through the crank and those holes are not necessary. I think all the holes
on the oem pistons are for is to allow oil to escape upward and get the
bottom of the piston? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
