Well, delays have been the name of the game here. Nothing has gone quickly or smoothly with this swap, but progress has
definitely been made.

Over the long weekend, I managed to finish some of the minor details that have been naging at me. I swapped over the locks in
the doors finally.

With luck, I'll have my head back from the shop by Friday. I finally decided to just bring it in and have a professional do
it. Valves reground, gasket surface milled... Safer that way I think.

In the meantime, I'm hoping to get a chance to install the IC and oil cooler in my car, some of the IC piping, and generally
get ready to drop in the 7M-GTE.

The bottom end of the engine seems to be good. The crank turns smoothly, the cylinder bores look good.

I've picked up a Hose Techniques SVH kit, to get rid of the brittle and cracking vacuum hoses. I also picked up a Walbro fuel
pump, which I intend to install. No problems with fuel pressure for me! (I hope)

I definitely miss driving my car, something that I hope will be remedied in a couple of weeks.
