Its not too bad. The upper wishbone bolt comes out pretty easy, and then you need to remove the lower shock mount to be able to slide the ball-joint assembly out of the control arm. For me, the biggest challenge was popping the ball joint out of the spindle. I had my puller cranked so tight I thought it was going to explode. It finally popped out with a bang.

I have to replace both front lower ball joints. The TSRM method requires nearly complete disassembly of the front suspension. Is there a simpler way- just unbolt the ball joint? There is real danger of shipwright's disease here.
